Execution Report: William Little

Continued from Page 1

Little had a history of drug use and of using a knife in burglaries. At the time of the killing, he was on probation for involuntary manslaughter. He failed to comply with an order to attend a halfway house for drug rehabilitation.

For his last meal, Little requested fifteen slices of cheese, three fried eggs, three slices of buttered toast, two hamberger patties with cheese, half a tomato, one sliced onion, french fries with salad dressing, a half-pound of crispy fried bacon, one quart of chocolate milke, and one pint of fresh strawberries.

Before his execution, Little told prison officials that he did not want to cause any problems.

Five of Peter's friends and relatives watched Little's execution from a viewing room. The condemened man declined to make a last statement. The lethal injection was started. He was pronounced dead at 6:20 p.m.
