Execution Report: John Lamb

Continued from Page 1

A jury convicted Lamb of capital murder in March 1983 and sentenced him to death. The Texas Court of Criminal appeals affirmed the conviction and sentence in June 1984. All of his subsequent appeals in state and federal court were denied.

I'm sorry, I wish I could bring them back," Lamb said in his last statement. He then said "I'm done; let's do it," and the lethal injection was started. He was pronounced dead at 6:19 p.m.
